6/10 Good

Disappointing food but lovely condition Hotel
It was my first time trying all inclusive and I had expected food to be better as it’s a big part of the experience. I had the worst ever burger on room service, tasted rubbery and like fart, it could not have been fresh and takes over an hour. The fries were always cold or tasted off/stale whether in restaurant or room service. You get an evening meal in the restaurants but if you are staying a week you will get bored as there are only 4. I did like the buffets though, particularly breakfast and also liked the churreria, felt like these were the only places I could get fresh food. I think it’s a well maintained hotel, with some beautiful views and the staff are pleasant and helpful but I got bored after a while, the beach and pools were ok, gym was small/under equipped for a resort of that size…I wish I only stayed 1 or 2 nights, as maybe it’s best suited to families. I definitely had a lot more fun in Tulum Hotel zone and enjoyed the flexibility for food and things to do there.

Great place for Families
Had a really nice stay. The entire staff really went above and beyond to make the trip special. Food was decent and the reservation restaurants were really good. The churreria was probably our favorite.

4/10 Fair

Bad Experience :(
We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights with my wife and my 2 sons (ages 6 and 4). The hotel is new and very nice; beach is nothing great (full of stones) but the worst part is that at night 5 we realized we got robbed from our bedroom. According to what the hotel staff told us and after carefully reviewing the security cameras, the hotel staff confirmed the cleaning/maintenance staff (water guy) came into our room (while we were away at the beach) and stole all my wife's credit cards from her wallet inside her purse. We realized 2 nights after when we started seeing unreasonable credit card charges in Mexico that we never did. It was such a horrible experience. We had to call our banks in the US, cancel all CC, etc. Not really the experience you would like to have when you are on a family vacation. I wish the hotel staff did something for us. Apart from apologies we're still awaiting for Hilton's staff response and until now we did not receive any news from the staff, Hilton or the hotel owners. This is not the service you expect from a 5-star Hilton hotel.

The property is new and pretty amazing. The only flaw is the beach-so many coral/lava rock-i think they are working on fixing that, but other then that we really enjoyed our stay!

10/10 Exceptional

This resort is new and in great shape and has beautiful modern decor. We are a family of 4 with kids age 10 & 11. Pros: -Queen beds (double beds are most common) -Room keys are fobs on your "all-inclusive" bracelet (No need to worry about losing or bringing keys) -Not sure if the hotel was at or near capacity but we never had trouble finding chairs by the pool. Ex. One day we didn't get out to the pool til around 1-2pm and we still found a good spot with 4 chairs and a couple of umbrellas. -Espresso drinks were included in the price (not the case at other places we've stayed) -No timeshare salespeople bothering you Cons: -Weren't enough housekeeping folks. Several days they didn't make our beds. Not a big deal for us except one day when we wanted service, the person came at 4:30PM but we were showering and told them to come back in an hour. Nobody did. When we called to request service after dinner, nobody came. -$35-$40 cab ride into town (one way) -Beach has lots of sargassum and is rocky (most days, a backhoe is working on plowing the beach for hours) FYI: -Plan to bring sunscreen, meds, hygiene products. We had to buy cold meds for a kiddo and the MSRP on the box was 66 pesos (~$3) and they charged 266 (~$13). -No music by the pool so several folks had bluetooth speakers -Get your transport to/from airport ahead of time. We paid $170 for an unscheduled cab to the hotel (1.5 hrs). $120 for a scheduled ride back to the airport (2.5 hrs-traffic!)

Great resort - beautiful design, clean rooms, modern amenities. Dinner restaurants were ok but buffet was great. If you are looking for a beach, not the place to go but pools and ocean views were awesome. Also constant activities for the whole family to enjoy, although it was hard to know about them because the app wasn’t working for us. Very friendly staff but service was often slow. Disappointed that there was no recycling.
