First trip to Rome
Hotel was perfect! Great location for sightseeing! Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great too! Lovely selection to choose from. I thought I'd miss not being able to make tea/coffee in the room but I didn't. There is a supermarket next door where we picked up some drinks and the hotel provided access to make tea/coffee whenever you wanted in a communal area by reception! There was even an endless supply of pastries/cakes to enjoy! The reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered directions to various places and recommendations for places to eat! I read other reviews where some were bothered because the lift didn't stop directly on each floor. We were between the 2nd and 3rd floor so took the lift to the 3rd and then had 6/7 steps to walk down to get to our room. Not a problem at all! I would stay here again! Thank you!

Great hotel with great hospitality!
The Hotel was overall great. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us whenever they could. It was nice to have breakfast available in the hotel. One day we had to leave very early for a tour before the dining room opened, but they made up sack breakfasts for everyone so we had something to eat before leaving. The hotel is about at 10 minute walk to the major train and subway station in Rome which made it easy for us to get around. The only drawback is the showers are extremely small and not well maintained. The round sliding doors kept falling off the track and you could barely turn around inside the small corner unit. They are aware of the issue and I believe are trying to renovate in the future. I believe Best Western only recently purchased this hotel. All-in-all I would recommend this hotel and would go back again when I'm in Rome.

I have no idea what these bad reviews are for. I had a great stay. The staff was so friendly (Alessio let me practice my Italian with him and he gave me great recommendations) and my room was maintained well. Y’all need to chill with these 2 star reviews.

The area is very nice and about a 10 minute mostly downhill walk from Roma Termini (central train station). Some good restaurants and neighborhood around the area, and that part was great. The shower in our room was the smallest shower I’ve ever used (smaller than a cruise ship). I am 6’3, 195lbs and struggled to fit/maneuver in the shower. While the shower was tiny and dated, the bathroom itself wasn’t too small. Coffee in the lobby was free but low quality and you’re better off paying for something nearby that is much better. In addition, we had a “Do Not Disturb” card on our door when we left for one of the two days in our stay, as most of our stuff was out and we just didn’t want housekeeping to have to deal with anything or make the bed. When we returned, they had been in the room, cleaned, and made the bed. Just a little unsettling when you’re not planning on anyone being in the room.

Great location, great helpful people.
The hotel, people, breakfast were great! Dont go during summer, because like all Europe, they hardly use air conditioning and the room was very hot. Air conditioning worked but was not strong enough to make the room comfortable. Location is great, walking distance to train station, to Colosseum, to Pantheon, etc.

Clean and well located hotel. Staff not very friendly at front desk. They accepted to change my room #116 (a dark and uncomfortable hole) due to the messy area around (1st floor, next to a flooded common area bathroom and wet carpet) but they looked annoyed, and gave me a hard time like i was asking for too much, when it was the minimum any guest should get: a clean and tidy area! Anyways, the 2nd room (4th floor) actually looked fine.

Nice but very small room; nice they offered free pastries, but no coffee maker (it was broken). A few of the bathroom fixtures were in need of repairs. The planter at the front entrance outside often smelled of urine (dogs passing by).
