Staff were very friendly and helped in anyway they could. We arrived an hour early for check in and they let us in at no additional cost. Room was clean and beds comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site. The location is great forntouring the historical centre.

Hotel Gillow is a classy hotel with cozy rooms located in the heart of Mexico City. All the major attractions are easily within walking distance. A wide variety of restaurants, cafés, and taquerías are near, and daily housekeeping and 24 hour security are nice additions. I absoluteltely recommend Hotel Gillow to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Not bad for the price
Hotel must have been quite nice and fancy a long time ago. In bad need of upkeep. Old room but bed was comfortable. I appreciated having purified water and ice stations on every floor so that you can refill bottles every morning before going out for the day. Breakfast was OK. Considering the price, it was acceptable for a few nights

I like the location. It is very close to the zocalo and Palacio de Bellas Artes. A little noisy early in the evening because of the traffic. Room was too close to the street. Also, Hotel Gillow needs to upgrade rooms so visitors can connect USB cables and more power outlets.
