Pros: Check in was smooth, staff was polite. Hotel is easy to find. Cons: The room was big but bathroom extremely tiny The ventilation/air conditioning was very little. I couldn’t sleep at night because it was too hot (it was autumn) The pillows are extremely soft and flat

Convenience and near to station. There is a Starbucks at the lift lobby. The room is in super clean condition. The down side is the room is very warm during our stay. Maybe due to the cold weather outside. They include breakfast and have e wide spread of food.

Just right outside the exit of shijo subway station, underpass linked to Karasuma and Kawarachi Station. Lift from subway is just few steps away from hotel at Exit 4.

Modern-looking, well-resourced hotel conveniently located a stone's throw away from Shijo metro station, and approximately ten minutes on foot from the Gion district. A couple of good restaurants, an (expensive) bar and a Starbucks are on site. Several other dining and drinking options including an Irish pub are nearby. Decently sized room (we stayed in a double) for Kyoto with a comfortable bed, quiet location and decent water temperatures/pressures. Bath towels were a little on the threadbare side though. The hotel was conveniently located for sightseeing, given its proximity to Shijo (just two stops away from Kyoto station) and Karasuma stations, making it a little easier to get to attractions like the Inari shrine and Kinkaju-ji (Golden Pavilion). About ten to fifteen minutes walk from locations like Nijo castle and the Gion district. If we manage to return to Kyoto someday, we'll definitely stay here again.

Terrific downtown hotel located near both subway and Hankyu line Karasuma station. Lots of eating places in immediate area. Excellent breakfast, well worth any additional charges. Wide selection of western and Japanese foods. Excellent coffee. Great value. Will definitely stay here again.
