Very good
Nice budget hotel and nicer staff!
Very nice hotel about 10 min walk from the underground station of Barajas - went there due to an early flight the morning after and spending a night being cheaper than commuting. It's a budget hotel so rooms are basic, but nothing else needed for the purpose. It would also be a good hotel to stay in as a tourist wanting to explore the city as the underground line passing by gets to another transport connection hub in about 15 min commute. The personnel at the hotel were really nice and everyone was following social distancing - although some guests were not wearing face coverings which are mandatory in Spain.

Good
Ok for the circumstances. But pricey, considering.
Due to virus the fool looked good but since itvwas all pre portioned, pretty tastless and cold. Serive very friendly, rooms a little tired. No airport shuttle. I do understand that they are doing what they can given the limited clentele.

Typical Ibis Hotel
Typical Ibis Hotel near the airport but required to catch a underground tube or a 101 bus and bit of walk.

Poor
A hotel that does not take care of its customers!
On February 26 I rented a night at the Hotel ibis Madrid Aeropuerto Barajas as I had been doing for several years, it was for August 3, but the Covid-19 pandemic came and the flights, the apartments that I rented in Homeaway and AirBnb and the tours, they gave me credit or they gave me my money back, the only place they told me no, was this miserable Hotel that does not know how to do business or keep its customers, I went to my citi card and they tried to appeal Since the pandemic had not ended and flights from the USA to Europe were well restricted, because to be able to enter the USA again, the Ibis hotel had to give me back the money, but they did not accept. I recommend that those who want to rent near the airport because they have the airport-hotel shuttle for free and vice versa that they rent in other airport hotels that offer this service, they are cheaper and in case you have to cancel the trip they allow you to do so.

Very good
Good for overnight stay for early morning flight. Free shuttle was great. Due to coronavirus situation the restaurant was closed, but I appreciated the fact that they prepared hot food to to take back to your room.

Good
I am familiar with Ibis hotels and the Ibis at Barajas airport is no different. It is clean, with a roomy bathroom this time. The only thing that did not work well was that the heating/AC system of the hotel did not work and the rooms were hot - but we could open the window to have cool air during the night. The staff is friendly and accommodating- we could not have breakfast because of the Covid-19 happening but the lady at the buffet was very helpful in packing croissant and coffee to go. I also liked the complimentary shuttle to the airport.

Perfect airport hotel
One night trip before flying home. The airport shuttle bus is a definite pro for anyone. The rooms are comfortable with a spacious shower which is perfect after lots of travelling. I've stayed here a few times and happily would again!
