Excellent downtown hotel.
The room was beautiful, modern, spacious, and calming. The location is perfect--central and so close to the University and the CBD. The cafe downstairs was charming. It was a great stay.

The property is conveniently located in heart of Melbourne. The management did little however to stop the excessive noise coming from a party in the court yard. This noise went on until 2am. After 2 phone calls to management to get party-goers out of the court yard, I was told they would soon stop and also that it was their right as they paid for their rooms which opened out to the courtyard. I was not compensated for this night of little sleep but I was compensated for the following night which I had booked but refused to stay.

It is literally right next to Queen Victoria Market and tram stop to take you down Elizabeth St. So insanely convenient, if nothing else. I found my room perfect for what I was using it for as a base for a work conference and the fitout is just "nice and chill". Staff were faultless.
