Needed an overnight stay close to Fort Lauderdale airport. This fitted the bill for a reasonable price and included breakfast and a free shuttle bus to the airport. Check-in staff were very friendly as was the girl in the shop when I needed washing detergent to do some laundry. The bar next door is separate from the hotel but offered decent food and drink options.

You need to accept that this is a budget hotel. It's fun, kitchy and retro. That being said it's a great deal since they provide a shuttle to and from the airport and the cruise terminal. The cruise terminal shuttle leaves at 10 and 11 but that should work for everyone. The breakfast is also good.
