We arrived and we were welcomed by very helpful and nice receptionist who upgraded our room to the bigger room for free. Which was very nice. Room was big with king size bed and shower and separated seating area with fireplace and two TV. Unfortunately the bed was to hard for my daughter. We had a choice to move to different room. Which we choose on 2 Nd floor with two queen size beds. We liked that room more. It was more cozy. Hotel is located few steps to main Street shopping snd restaurants. 20 min walk to Niagara Fall. Parking cost 17$ per night. Lovely Breakfast was provided to our room

The hotel was very clean! Staff very friendly. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Breakfast in bed included in our stay. Only disappointment was on hotels.com description it stated private balcony which we did not have. This is a big reason why we booked the room. This was our only disappointment.

We stayed in the Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed, Steam Shower. It was a beautiful and spacious room - much bigger than most hotels and bigger than my first apartment. There was a separate living room and TV. Love the massive shower with rain fixture, body jets and steamer. The restaurant was closed so while we did get continental breakfast in bed as part of the room reservation, we couldn’t have room service for dinner. Decided to get takeout at TGI Friday about a 5 minute drive closer to the Falls. Niagara was eerily quiet but it was nice to take a driving tour. I knew to expect $17/day parking from previous reviews which wasn’t too bad given the room rate. Don’t know why they don’t just include it in the room and offer “free parking” for guests. I was crossing my fingers for a room upgrade with my Gold membership on Hotels.com at check in, assuming there would be availability on a Tuesday night, but wasn’t the case. Still a pleasant check in and safety procedures were in place. I liked having our room on the first floor to avoid elevators and other guests. Overall, great little gem in Niagara and would recommend to others.

This was the most ordinary of rooms we have stayed in at the Sterling Inn, all other rooms have been exceptional. This room is in need of a major overhaul. The bathroom had badly repaired caulking near the shower stall. The bottom corner of the shower door was rotting and rusted. The drain on the shower was so slow that you had to stop showering because the water was going to overflow out into the bathroom area. There was a badly repaired bit of ceiling right above the headboard of the bed, not very attractive at all. And the headboard was not even attached, so if you touched it, it would rock back and forth. The fireplace wasn't a real gas fire...just red glowing electric lights that did not provide any heat or atmosphere. We have stayed at the Sterling at least five times...this room was very disappointing compared to the other rooms we have stayed in.

I have stayed at this hotel before, a few years back and had a great experience. My friends been dealing with alot (fathers not doing well) and I wanted to take her “away” for a night of fun and relaxation. I almost felt as though they gave us all of the worst things for getting the room on discount. Our bed was very hard-i’m not someone who usually makes a fuss. I asked the front desk if all the rooms had the same type of bed. They offered a mattress pad for comfort. I understand that moving rooms is a hassle- especially during covid. A young man- not wearing any type of uniform came to our room with an old mattress pad. Said nothing, walked right in. And im assuming was going to strip the bed and re-make it? We suggested he just leave it and we’ll do it. But with that, the stains on the bed spread, holes in the robes, stains on the robes (visible without unrolling them), the scratched up tables- we asked to move rooms. In the morning we had the breakfast in bed that was included. There were no eggs and no fresh fruit. I was only able to eat the fruit- as im vegan. So

Amazing romantic & relaxing stay. Complimentary breakfast was better than any breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Amazing, only issue was we were on the first floor and heard a lot of stomping on the floor above us. Would recommend 2nd floor.
