I highly recommend The Frenchmen Hotel!
Honestly, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at dollar for dollar. The property is beautiful and authentic to the area, appropriately old but perfectly maintained. Unrivaled location steps to music venues, but remarkably quiet and peaceful for the most part. Good vibe, nice people that keep it real.

Never again.
Tv was broken entire trip. Ceiling fan did not work and sounded like it was going to fly off the ceiling when on. A/C worked sporadically. Bed legs were huge rectangles on the outside of bed frame that we ran into constantly in a very small , cramped room. Made several complaints to incredibly cold and rude front desk staff and a change of room or repairs were never followed up on.

Frenchmen St oasis
We had a charming stay at The Frenchmen. The bed and linens were really comfortable! Everything was very clean. We took advantage of the hot tub and pool. It was wonderful! We spent most nights on Frenchmen St listening to music. The location was perfect for this! The French Quarter was really accessible as well, and there's a trolley that takes you down to Canal St from the French Market. The staff at The Frenchmen were really friendly. I would definitely stay here again!
