Superior Family Hotel
Our stay at this newer hotel with a large modern room, was perfect for a family of four. The in-house breakfast far exceeded our expectations (and ended up being one of the top dining experiences we had while in Japan). Beautiful public bath on-site was a lovely addition to the property. Property was centrally located, modern and clean, and the service was top-notch.

I’ve stayed here for about three weeks during my stay in Japan and absolutely loved it. The staff are friendly, are able to speak fluently in English if you’re unable to speak in their native language. The faculties are nice, there are laundry and dryer services you have to pay, depending on the time and day it may be busy as there are only several laundry machines available. I have not used the public bath so I have no opinion in regards to. The rooms themselves are very spacious if you are solo, I can see it being a decent size for two people. The location itself has its pros and cons. Some pros include walkable distances to many train and bus stops if you are heading to tourist destinations, there is also several convenience stores around. The con is after breakfast there is not many restaurants nearby that you could enjoy your lunch or dinner nearby. It’s more of a residential area, so you’d have to walk to an eatery if you’d like to have lunch or dinner.

This hotel has excellent staff, with several being able to speak English. Very helpful. They will call a taxi for you at no extra charge. Also, they will take care of shipping your luggage to another hotel, including filling out the address in Japanese. You can pay for it right there rather than at a convenience store. They offer new towels daily if you do not want your room cleaned. They have complementary slippers that you can keep as well. They have a public bath that is clean and peaceful. They also have a large lobby and laundry room. The cost to wash is 300 yen (soap automatically added)and to dry is 100-200 yen (make sure to clean the dryer filter). The hotel is a 6-8 minute walk from Kyoto station and 5 min walk from 2 local train stations. You can get to Fushimi Inari-Taisha in 15 min by train! I will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel near Kyoto station. Recommend!
Lovely stay at this hotel with my family. Friendly receptionists who were able to communicate in English well especially the young male staff who we met on the day we arrived. They have the Yamato service which makes luggage transfer so much easier for us. They also collect mail for us so we could organise trains in advance. Rooms were nice and clean. The public bath was a nice extra touch. There is a Lawson just opposite the hotel which is convenient. Overall a brilliant stay, cannot fault them!

More than I expected
So good to be true. The room was spacious and really clean. It's close to Kyoto station as well as Kujo station. There were two minor negative issues there: There was no phone in the room, and they provide only drip-type coffee with no milk and Japanese tea (one pack each). Why do I say that? Because there were no other issues there. Totally lovely and I will try to stay there again (I stayed in two different rooms for 6 nights). Sorry I should have taken some photos.
