Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa (SG Clean)

Our staycation was during CNY, we can understand CNY additional price but still it's too much overvalued. The first pool photo we can see here, we couldn't enter the place due to our booking room. We totally didn't know that and we expected the comfy staycation with the pool like pic.

Old hotel. Room felt old. Restaurant has limited choice menu, food is cold or barely cooked (chicken chops). My wife reported flees in the restaurant. Breakfast day, my wife and her nephew placed their order around 8:55. At around 9:30, they were asked for last order but had not yet been served the breakfast they had ordered 35 minutes earlier. Other tables that arrived after them had been served.

The hotel is nice but the staff is useless. No towels at pool, had to ask twice & wait over 30 minutes. Not a 5 star hotel when you order pool food & it gets served almost 1 hour later

The room is looking dated and tired. Better cleaning & dusting would have made it ok

The room is a little dated and the service is less than responsive - calls are not responded to in a timely manner and I feel that the Amara Brand should strive to do better

Booked for New Years eve, at the same price could have went for many other choice. Just surprised how sleazy it has become, dark walk ways, chalky pool, towel trolleys parked at corridor, water feature wall malfunctioned. $500 for 1 night without breakfast. Not sure if it was available for staycation or charging that price for loss of business during Covid . Turn off, not even worth a photo.

I had a very good experience with staff and a comfortable stay.

We like being nested in the nature at this resort! It is also wheelchair friendly facility. We were offered a wheelchair accessible room but this comes with a bath tub rather than shower area with grab bars or shower chair which will be more appropriate for our elder. In the end, we have to bring him over to my sibling's room for shower.

The surrounding flora was beautiful and well maintained

Absolutely horrible. 2hrs late check-in and not the room we wanted with the jacuzzi, they tried giving us breakfast and late check-out but the room they upgraded us to was also terrible with aircon and fridge not working well, and they forgot 1 item off our food order as well. We checked out in 3hrs, never done that in my life, it was an anniversary celebration completely ruined.
