Tried to contact the hotel for several hours and at least 15 phone calls before actually reaching someone. That was frustrating.
Once checking in, I asked what time the pool closed to be informed that the pool is not open. My kids were upset considering we were planning on swimming that night. If they had mentioned that, I would’ve booked a different hotel. Almost felt like we got jipped. Hotel was decent. Had an issue with our bathroom door not closing. It didn’t catch the latch due to poor construction. Made me nervous with my 1 year old. Breakfast was nice but again, my kids were disappointed. They were excited about the waffles and toppings, but after they made the waffle, the toppings were out. There was an empty can of whipped cream setting out and the attendant said there wasn’t anymore. Then, they had chocolate chips displayed, which there weren’t anymore of those either. My daughter had chunks in her glass of milk, myself and other guests had to ask for coffee cup lids. Disappointed that there wasn’t any fresh fruit setting out either in there fruit baskets on display.
Sounds nitpicky, but I guess when you see things in front of you, and then find out there gone or not in service, it leads to disappointment. I don’t know that we would stay here again or book through hotels.com again.
