Santhiya Tree Koh Chang Resort

Although not 5-star international standard as we had expected and experienced at other Santhiya locations, the "pool suite" room was very beautiful and comfortable. (Rooms in this category are newer and were in much better condition than the upgraded "villa" category.) The manager and staff were very kind and courteous and tried very hard to improve the quality of our stay. Rainy season is not an ideal time to visit Koh Chang so we encountered a few kinds of "wildlife" in our room. Excellent mid-range resort on lovely, well kept grounds and a nice beach, but head to another Santhiya location if you're seeking a high-end experience of exclusivity and luxury.

Booked 2 nights stay for my mom and it turned out to be her fantastic experience. Got a huge discount rate from Expedia but all the experiences were 5 stars. My mom got the upgraded room for the first night but she requested to go back to the original room for the second night for a change. Both room types were awesome from her feedback (Hideaway Pool Villa & Pool Suite Water View) Good service, nice breakfast with live music (traditional thai music), very clean and well-manged space in the rooms, friendly and responsive staff. I'd definitely book again but it will be for myself next time :)

What a gem! Best resort I have stayed on in Koh Chang. I have stayed in 7 different places & this one was the best by far!

Wow, what a great place to stay. Suggest you stay in the Villa Pool rooms. Breakfast was fantastic, Dinner was good but could have been better. One frustrating point is that they kept moving the time for Happy Hour. Lastly the staff was outstanding especially the front desk, they were very helpful arranging transfers for us.

Wonderful rooms - great beach - excellent staff. Food is expensive and so is the beer compared to restaurants just off the property. The included breakfast is world class. This is our second time at this resort and we would return. Note: one of the staff - Piya- on the front desk has terrific English and knows how things work there - she is a great asset for this resort.

Quite simply the nicest place we have ever had the pleasure of staying at and we have stayed a lot of places. We stayed in the palace sitting at the back of the property away from the beach but it was a good trade off since we had a pool IN OUR ROOM! Not only did we have a pool in the room but had an amazing view of the waterway behind the property and beautiful hillside behind that. Breakfast buffet was among the best we've ever had as well with many choices that should be able to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. Free paddle board rental was a nice way to explore the water. Be warned this resort is a little ways off of the main road but completely worth it. There is a free shuttle that will take you in to the main road if you want to go to a bar, restaurant or shop. You could walk to the main road if you really wanted to but it would take you a little time. Staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating.
