Little bit of luxury
Xcellent property at the end of the road in Manuel Antonio. Meticulously clean and well maintained with lots of options on the property. Nice restaurant, super friendly and helpful staff as well.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
Horrible experience in a dingy old hotel far from the beach. We paid a few hundred dollars per night for a ' premium room' which was dirty, old and was full of mould with not even a bottle of water provided. There are NO elevators just a tiny old winched box, the pool was full of screaming kids, staff looked miserable. This is a budget hotel for families and trying to charge top rates using fake descriptions like 'premium' is unnacceptable. AVOID

Great stay!
Hotel Parador is one of the best hotels I have stayed ever. Not only the facilities but its people made this a great vacation in Costa Rica. I would highly recommend it.

Hotel up on the hill
We enjoyed this Hotel very much and would return. This Hotel is not directly on the beach or waterfront. You have to go down a muddy rough trail to get to a beach that is not private. Have to pay for beach chairs and umbrella. Hotel cart drives you to the beginning of trail and will pick you up. Hotel is clean and has fabulous views. Pools we great except main pool closes too early. Food is great but very expensive and small portions. This Hotel is at the end of a peninsula so you have to drive to go anywhere. There are numerous hotels in the area and tons of restaurants. A shuttle is provided for you to take to Manual Antonia park, I would highly suggest taking that instead of driving. If you do drive there is "free" parking at the end of the entrance to the park (vendors try to get you to park and pay stating that there is not free parking) Somewhat of a quiet hotel with a mix of families, older couples, singles groups. Great for wildlife!!! We saw a sloth, monkeys, raccoons, crabs, lizards. Every night the monkeys would come eat mangos around the hotel. The raccoons would come late at night when I was swimming to eat the mangos that the monkey dropped. They had a sloth living in the trees by the upper pools which was great to see!
