Convenient to the airport but sadly that’s all
The Grand Melanesian was a convenient location for an early flight from Nadi airport, but unfortunately that was the only positive. When we arrived the lady checkin couldn’t find our booking (even though I had the confirmation email). We also ordered a wakeup call at 4:15, but it was made to us at 4:45 (luckily I set my own alarm just in case). Our room booking said the room had a balcony (it didn’t). It was also a very noisy place to stay (our window was right next to the outside staircase) and you could hear all the noise from the corridors.

Not reliable!!
When we arrived at the hotel, they did not have a room for us. We paid and booked 4 days in advance. We had to go to another hotel. No phone call or emails were sent to apologize and warn us about their mistake. We are still waiting to get a refund of this night we haven't spent there.

1 night stay was ok, however, were billeted on the 3rd floor with no lift. Having take and bring back luggage all the way. Thankful to the staff to have helped with luggage. Ok for a nights stay.
