Victoria Hotel, Galway, Ireland
Hotel is currently undergoing renovations but this did not bother us at all, no noise noticed other than light banging mid morning, we were not around other times of day. It’s a no frills hotel that’s very comfortable, our lamp shade was stained and the door knob to the bathroom was hanging off enough to jangle, if this gives you any idea of its mid-condition. It’s location is very central and a perfect convenient walk to train station, food etc. Overall great quick stay!

Victoria Hotel, Galway, Ireland
This hotel is conveniently located to Eyre Square and is a short walk to the bus station in Galway. The girl at the reception desk was lovely and helpful, but the property itself is dated and run down. The hotel is also under renovations, which we were not aware of when we checked in. Sheets were clean and the room was fairly quiet but the bathroom tub was backed up, making for an unpleasant shower experience. To summarize- fine for two girls passing through that needed somewhere to sleep but left a bit to be desired.

Overpriced weekend stay
Stayed over a weekend with family. Hotel was in the middle of renovations. No food options in bar. We forgot clothing item when checking out which (upon follow up with Hotel) has disappeared. Expected more from this hotel for what we paid.
