Super location, lovely staff and a very good breakfast! The rooms are a little small, but this is Venice and the convenience of having everything on your doorstep makes up for it! The breakfast is super! Wish we had skipped the local cafe which was mediocre and had breakfast here on both days.

Hotel staff was amazing! Property needs updating and and has a mildew moisture issue. You can keep the authentic look and still update facilities. Very inconvenient to get to with luggage. Back packers are best suited. Old linens, drapery, and bedding. Just felt a bit dingy.

The property is ideally located with 3 min walk to the Basillica. No elevator but the Staff was very helpful getting the luggage up and down, arranging water taxis to the station etc. We were able to request a canal view and were upgraded after a cancellation. The building is old and not super clean but if you’re only staying for a couple of days, it is pretty tolerable. Staff are very nice and attentive and you are literally 5 mins walk from all main attractions and close to the ferry station. But I personally paid what I considered a bit too much for one night. Perhaps because of the location so no major complaints.
