Birthday break.
Very comfortable, very pleasant, weather helped but we did order it. Food was first class as was the service. Beautiful views & scenery. Owner & wife both very pleasant & helpful in the hotel & outside with directions & alternative routes to make the most if our stay. Car parking was tight, but street parking was ok. Access to Illfacombe was via a steep hill, we just it slow.

Great location. Ideal for Coastal Path walks.Ten minute stroll down hill to the harbour. Nice room, we had a sea view, with all the niceties. Good breakfasts, cooked to order. Hotel run by a host full of very helpful advice and information about North Devon.

Wonderful hotel and lovely hosts, we received a warm welcome on arrival and helpful information about the town and surrounding area, also loved the view of the sea from our room. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast the following morning and received more advice about potential destinations of interest to stop at during the next stage of our journey. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Ilfracome as you are made to feel at home from the minute you arrive.

We stayed for five nights and found it a good base to explore the whole of the north Devon area. The owner was very pleasant, polite and helpful with his knowledge of Ilfracombe and the neighbouring towns and villages.

Lovely place
Fantastic guest house - super friendly with the owner giving us great tips on where to eat and showing us round the house. My 12 year old son loved it and felt really happy there. Highly recommended and a great breakfast too!
