Loved it!
Cannot say more about this property! It was amazing! We were checked in by April who gave us great recommendations where to eat and what to see. After she found out it was our 30th anniversary, the hotel brought us a lovely chocolate cake to celebrate. If you go, find the outside smoking area which is a small table and two chairs but it is right on a canal where you can watch the gondoliers go by. It was amazing! Breakfast was also fabulous - great coffee! Thanks April and staff! We will be back!

Weird dry wall not finished in room
We really loved this hotel. It was a perfect location in Venice for all of the sight-seeing and activities that we did. It was very difficult to find at night when we got there from the train, so next time we will definitely utilize the water taxi. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping within a 5 minute walk. It overlooked the canal and the breakfast was delicious and abundant! Our favorite part about the hotel was that it had fresh water and iced tea in the bar area for free when we came back at the end of the day. We also liked the slippers and the mini fridge. The staff were so helpful as well! The only thing that was a little strange was that our room had a wall with a huge dry wall panel that seemed to be unfinished.

Not worth it for the price paid.
Dated & not worth the steep price paid. Although when I booked I realized this hotel had the Venetian style component, I didn’t realize the hotel would be so dated and in need of renovations. The bed was essentially made of springs and very uncomfortable. Our television didn’t work, which wasn’t a huge deal since the only time we attempted to watch was around 11pm. They charge us for the water bottle provided in the room which was surprising considering the other hotels we’ve stayed at always included the water. The whole place gave me a creepy feeling and I just would not recommend. The staff was very kind and considerate, however.

Beautiful room with a view!
Just spent 2 nights here, but it was the perfect spot to explore Venice, equal distances from both the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark’s Square. If part of a larger group, I highly recommend the canal view room, which has 2 bedrooms. The robes and slippers were a nice touch, and I appreciated the spaciousness of both the bathroom and bedrooms. If booking, be sure to get the included breakfast, which is served from 7:30-10:30; it’ll fill you up with enough to last you until dinner time! One last thing: it’s well worth taking the private water taxi from the airport to the Rialto stop. The 140 it cost each was worth every Euro!!! Also, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Before arriving, an employee (over the phone) instructed us as to how best to get to the hotel. The night before we left, a staff member was nice enough to book us a departing water taxi. I’d return to Bella Venezia in a heartbeat!!!
