The hotel is in a very quiet street just beyond the main market square. It has a smart, contemporary design (not Rubens-esque as you might imagine), good room facilities including a coffee pod machine, and offers good breakfasts (the waffle-making machine is a nice touch).

Beautiful hotel, with thin walls
The hotel is very clean and has a wonderful design. My room was spacious and quite comfortable. The breakfast was super delicious and the staff helpful whenever I asked them for assistance. My only complaint is that my room (assume all their rooms are like this) did not have good sound control. I faced the street and could hear everything taking place outside. I also could hear pretty much everything happening in the neighboring hotel rooms. One morning I heard people moaning, almost as if they were in my own room.

Great stay, although only for one night. Bed was comfortable and room was big. Breakfast was great! There was a slight pungent smell as soon as I got in the hotel, likes sewers, not sure if this was Antwero per the hotel. Anyway would definitely stay again, as I don't believe this is the norm.

The property is on a quiet street but close to the market area in Antwerp. Our room was beautiful, clean, and private. The breakfast was wonderful! Enjoy some of the tasty lemon candies at the reception desk as well!

Breakfast was super delicious - hot and cold options, even a make-your-own waffle iron. Absolutely fell in love with Antwerp, and the Hotel Rubens was a huge part of that. Our room was spacious with a stunning view of the Cathedral. Quiet, convenient, great amenities. Can't wait to come back
