In total the hotel is brand new so very clean and bright, the decor is great and modern, the extra bed in our room was foldable and very uncomfortable, gave me back ache for a few days after. The thing I was disappointed in most was the staff in the restaurant, they were not on the ball like other Mumbai hotels I have visited. The service was poor, there was no order, we were given a table and then told to get up as it was for another customer and then just left standing holding our plates waiting to be reseated. The food was cold and coffee horrid. Staff was not at all friendly as they were so busy trying to keep up with the amoun t of guests being catered for. There was no system in place. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt the week before and they knew how to cope and you felt like you were in a 5 start hotel with 5 star service. Here the service at best was 3 star.
