The hotel looks extremely fancy. But it's just your average Chinese hotel with strange rules. 1. The swimming pool requires a swimming cap. No where on their website or booking page does it say that they require a swimming cap. And to make matters worse, the hotel doesn't provide or sell swimming caps. So don't stay here if you want to swim. 2. The massage was a joke. For 1330 RMB, you'd expect the massage to be really good right? It was mediocre at best. 3. The mini fridge in your room doesn't keep anything cold. It barely works. No cold drinks for you. Pros: The air conditioning actually worked in May. Most hotels in Beijing won't turn the AC in until June 1st. But the AC was on, and my room was freezing (loved it). Breakfast was ok. Good mixture of Chinese and western.
