Terrible food no sleep spoil what could be great

Clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Terrible food, truly awful. Goats head and trotter soup was one of options. This was a common theme and in my view not suited to many British holiday makers. We upgraded our room to a duplex family room room with direct pool access. This positioned us on the side nearest to the main road. It was very noisy both with traffic and the mosque directly opposite which used loud speakers for the call to prayer throughout the night and I mean throughout the night, not just till midnight or from 0500. I appreciate that’s their religion and respect that but coupled with the road it left us unable to sleep and wouldn’t want others to experience the same. Such a shame because the staff are great, the hotel is fun during the day with warmer pools than others I’ve experienced in the same area. It’s just hard to relax and enjoy yourself whilst getting no sleep and being hungry.
