      Awesome Experience!

      I stayed at a Green Stay Hotel in a different town several years ago and was very impressed. That experience caused me to choose Green Stay this trip. It did not disappoint! The staff was friendly, courteous, and very efficient. The room was clean, spacious, and very inviting. I was extremely pleased! Making it even better was the economical price.

      Closed without noticed

      Book the room and i had to drive 6 hours to get there. When i got there at 11:30 the hotel was closed. I had to book another hotel in the middle of the night. The next morning i went to find out why it was closed. The receptionist just said they were short staffed. I inquired why i was not informed that they were going to be close. She was very rude to me and told me to get out. She also said that if the would contact to see if I stayed that she would say i did so i didnt get a refund

      Dirty and disappointed

      Our stay was the worst hotel experience! We were given room keys 3x before the front desk lady came up with a master key and we still could not get into the room. She placed us in the room next door. The keys only worked half the time on this room door. Once we entered the room a pillow with “what appeared to be ketchup” had been wiped on it. I took this down to the front desk and was given 2 new pillows. While unpacking I noticed one of the two queen beds did not have sheets or pillow cases and the mattress cover was dirty. I went back down to the front desk and was given sheets and pillow covers. The floor had a bright red stain, the bathtub was dirty and disgusting. The pool heater was broken but ironically was working the morning we left. The lamp wouldn’t turn on. I need to request a refund fir our stay! Never again will we stay in a Greenstay hotel.

      Flies and nasty carpet

      We killed over a dozen flies and chased more. The carpet was sticky! Nasty. We will never go here again.

      No, no, no….

      Oh my goodness. Never again. Broken window, non flushing toilet, mold around the shower head, a sock and garbage behind the furniture and no stopper in the sink. Almost unbelievable. I attempted to get another hotel, despite the late hour, but nothing nearby available. Had to rough it out. My kid chose to sleep in his clothes. 🙄. The only bright spot was the desk girl, Elizabeth. What a tough job she has at this place!

      Piss poor excuse for service.

      My son and pregnant girlfriend had a fire at there apartment in waynesvile about 30 minutes away. I booked the room for him while he drove. He was 5 minutes late getting there at rude clerks said he had no reservation even though he showed them and explained the situation. The rudely turned him away. Then still charged the card that the Red Cross had given my son. That was totally unacceptable. My son is mixed and I have a feeling that would not have happened if he was white. He had to drive another 30 minutes to Sullivan to get a room. Take them off your site.

      It was a fair rate, but the non-smoking room wreaked of smoke, the other tenant seemed to be living there and treating it like low income housing, the bathroom that was claimed to be sanitized... Was not by any means. Keys wouldn't work on a daily basis.

      Hard time checking in, the toilet seat was broken and in pieces, you would have thought the room cleaning staff would have noticed this, when I mentioned it at checkout there was any concerns by staff.
