Terrible breakfast, definitely not a good bargain(!) The pool and sport club area was nice

Very comfortable bedroom, great swimming pool, delicious breakfast and superb staff - I'd single out Anna at the reception desk.

There was nothing unique about the property. The sports complex and pools were good but no mattresses on sunbeds. The hotel was tired. Your photographs were somewhat misleading as to quality of hotel which was not a long term stay and that should be made clear.

We had our 2 rooms at only 4.15 pm. No apologies, horrible welcome and staff. They don't care about customers. I am travelling a lot and this is the first time i had this kind of so bad experience. The manager is totally unpolite and requested us to check out from our rooms at 10 am.

The beds were terrible, very uncomfortable. The Air conditioner was on high but it was not cool enough in the extreme heat(98F, 35C) The refrigerator did not work at all.

I love this hotel. It's in a kibbutz, very close to down town Jerusalem and the old city.

This was our second time staying at Ramat Rachel. Our room was upgraded to a "superior" room, and we had an amazing view. The desk staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff was more "tolerant" than helpful, but overall did a fine job. We love the children's swimming pool, which was why we went back there a second time. The internet access we had from our room was spotty and slow, which was frustrating when I tried to work online after the kids were asleep. The food is not really child-friendly. As in, in an Israeli hotel, it would seem that chicken shnitzel (breaded chicken cutlet) would be a staple, but sadly, it is not on the buffet. French fries or some form of plain potato or plain pasta would also be great. When the meal costs a considerable amount of money, it's frustrating that children with simple taste buds are not accommodated at the buffet (disclaimer; I am not the type to ask the kitchen staff whether they have other foods available. It is possible they did, had I asked.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and we are very likely to return - but next time, we may eat in the cafe near the pool for a lot less money than the dinner buffet at the hotel cost.
