One of the great romantic hotels. Great location. The ambience more than compensates for the lack of a lift.

Very good hotel with rich history. Clearly an older hotel, but very well maintained/renovated. Hallways are well decorated with older furniture. Breakfast area inside is extremely beautiful with Moroccan tiles everywhere, breakfast can be had on the terras with a nice view over the see and harbour. Tip: only 3 floors, but without elevators. So people that can not do a lot of stairs, ask for lower level..

The Hotel Continental is an excellent hotel for anyone travelling to Tangier who would like to see the old city, but not deal with the hustle and bustle of the smaller streets. Its location, history, service, and views make it an excellent choice for any traveller.

First of all as mentioned earlier They do not have access for vans to drop off guests. One has to park on the street below and walk up a very very steep incline with luggage. They refuse to send help or shuttle. Rooms smell of cigars and weed. Our room had bugs both living and dead on sheets. There was no plug point in our room 225 i got videos of it. The front desk check in guy Yousouf was mean and not helpful. Dont go by the pictures on the net. Dont get tricked. Oh yeah if u her 3/4 th floor and u have luggage Goodluck! No elevators. I asked to speak to a manager and they did not have one??

The hotel is beautiful. Breakfast is great, however staff look down on you and constantly star at what your getting. I found that a bit strange. It’s also hard to get too. Other then that it’s a great hotel. Beautiful view!

Very interesting hotel, with lots of history. If you like modern hotels this one isn’t for you but if you wish to stay in a hotel with charm & character. This is the one. Breakfast was good. Room basic but comfortable. Close to ferry & hop on hop off bus. Great stay.

Nice hotel and great location. It is right across from the port so if arriving by ferry you can just cross the street and confidently ignore the taxis, etc. The old town of Tangier is right at your doorstep as well. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet on the patio overlooking the port.

Amazing facility. Its like a museum. The facility is decent. To reach the hotel is very hard. The street is very narrow. And no elevator. The breakdast is excellant, the view is the best. Next to the old market. I will go there again
