Front desk has a monstrosity built with 2x4s and plexiglass on top of it to protect everyone from COVID. It was about 7 ft high and the only open space between the customer and employee was a gap about 1/2" wide by 3" wide that will allow you to slide a pen back and forth. It was super welcoming! I overheard an older gentleman ask the employee if they were expecting rioting that evening, while he knocked on the plexiglass. LOL
There were paper signs posted in the hotel letting customers know to keep their kids quiet or they would be asked to leave. Also super welcoming. Gym was closed. Pool closes at 9 pm.
I had to request another room because the first room I was given had a strong cigarette smoke smell. They were very accommodating and gave me another room that was much better. Parking is fairly limited, but you can park in the abandoned Rodeway Inn parking lot next to the Sleep Inn.
Overall the accommodations were decent - for the cost I paid for the stay. The coffee and breakfast left a lot to be desired, but it was fine for my stay for business. The room was spacious. TV is older and needs an upgrade, and reception was spotty. The bright spots were the bathroom - clean and spacious - and the bed was extremely comfortable.
