Decent enough place
A little run down, but overall a good place to stay. Good location, close to the 1 and C/E Subway lines. Easily walkable from Penn station. The only breakfast options were bagels or muffins, with water/coffee/tea, but it’s more than the majority of Manhattan hotels that don’t offer any.

Somewhat disappointing
Describing this hotel, as Savoy is clearly misleading. The room was a reasonable size, but was cold even when the fan heater had been on for some considerable time. The bathroom was in need severe need of renovation. The shower worked, but was not a particularly good experience and trying to fine tune the water between hot and too hot was very difficult. The windows of the room were filthy.. The reception staff were functional and courteous in their approach, but not particularly friendly, they only acknowledged us once during our four day stay. Given the nightly rate of the hotel, I can only assist this place as somewhat disappointing
