I am a hotel creature, i have stayed on 5 star hotels in US and other countries. However, this place, takes the cake. Waking up and having breakfast with a Volcano as a foreground is breathtaking every time. Town center is very close walk able distance. As soon as you check in, you will feel the warm hospitality. I mean, a concierge lighting up your fireplace at 2am because we were a little chilly, is service beyond service. Although the price for this place is on the steeper side, i recommend staying even 1 night if you can. I was worried about the noisy streets but this place is far enough that you don't hear any street noise. What else can i say, this place was one of the highlights of our trip.

Possibly the Best Hotel in Antigua
Posada del Angel is just amazing. Our room was stunning, and the level of service is the best I have ever experienced. We loved having a delicious breakfast served every morning on our private terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. The full size jacuzzi in our bathroom was very nice as well.

My wife and I happen to get the roof-top suit, which was amazing and private. A private terrace next to our suit was an exquisite amenity and we truly enjoyed the view to Volcan de Agua. An outstanding full-Breakfast served right at our terrace also made our stay just as a a 5-stars. Minor details to take care of, perhaps, but overall great stay.
