The location is great. The beddings are clean and comfortable. However, the first time for me to experience this kind of services. The house keeping service always forgot to replenish stuff. Only on the day when I checked in, the towels and complementary bottled water were well supplied. For all the other three days, either towels or bath mat or bottled water were not replenished. On the third day, I went to the front desk and emphasized that it was already the second time that no bath mat was provided. The man, with no smile on his face at all and no sorry, said that it depends whether the laundry has delivered it. Are they serious? At least two sets for each room, that is norm for the hospitality industry. It happened that the one house keeping lady was there and she said they have the bath mat and can bring it to my room immediately.

Minimalist type of hotel but clean, updated decor and easy checkin/out services. Complimentary water in the room and quick breakfast nosh was a nice touch too.

Only the queen bed for all rooms. The front desk staff is not patient and not friendly.

Don't expect any hospitality from the front desk
Male receptionist at the front desk speaks with a monotone and won't even greet or look at you. Rushes through his script at high speed and just wants to get you out of his way.

The hotel location is great, close to restaurants, main street and 2 minutes walking from the train station. It's a small hotel, with small rooms, enough if you are just on a quick business trip and not planning to spend any time in the hotel apart from sleeping. The room was very clean but with almost no storage to keep my clothes. Breakfast was ok if you wake up early (6am) otherwise the breakfast space is that small (literally 2 small tables) that you won't have much space. For me it was perfect as I woke up at 6am and had breakfast alone with all the fresh food and coffee ready just for me ;-)

Bad customer service
As soon as I arrived the person at the front desk was extremely rude to me her name is Des. She would not allow me to use the restroom until it was checkin time. I told her i just drove 6 hours and would appreciate using the restooom, she declined it. Then she gave me a terible time about parking. It was a nightmare. My son attends Stanford. I was visiting him and needed to hurry to go to his presentation, she did everything in her power to delay me and make thigs difficult.

Check in was uneventful with a distracted desk clerk, elevators not working, schlepped bags up the stairs as directed to by the front desk, extra guy in the lobby sitting texting. TV did not work, front desk guy came up and messed with wiring, blamed housekeeping. Alarm clock was set by previous guest and was armed so I woke in time for their appointment. Hotel room is itty bitty but good enough for me. I was clean and modern.

They had great staff! Also the complimentary wine tasting, cookies, snacks and breakfast were a great touch. Also they let us check in early and leave our bags in the lobby after check out.

My only complaint is that parking is challenging. Otherwise my stay was quite nice.
