Consulate Stay
We stayed for two nights during our Consulate visit. The hotel is very basic. The shuttle service was only to 3 places(immigration purposes) and charged to take us to the airport. The beds were very uncomfortable and the internet was completely unreliable. They charge a small deposit. It is walking distance to consulate, fingerprints and medical services. The breakfast was good and the staff was pleasant.

Great atmosphere yummy food
The hotel was nice the staff was friendly and the taxi drivers were as well very quick to respond. Entire hotel was clean. And the restaurant Mestizo's food and service was so good. Only 1 thing i didnt like the bed was too firm for me but got used to it. I spent 2 weeks in this hotel. By the way the price was very reasonable. The free breakfast was always yummy but maybe serving a little more without an extra charge would be nice.I left 3days before it was due would have been nice to get at least 1 day reimbursed.

The room was nice and spacious with a fridge. The only thing missing was a microwave. I really liked that the bathroom toilet seat had a built in child seat too so if you have little ones that need the child seat that’s a plus! This is one of the hotels that have almost everything the same as hotels in the US. (Hand towel, Kleenex, soap, shampoo, ice bucket and coffee pot) I stayed at 3 different hotels while there and the other ones didn’t have Kleenex, or ice machines. One didn’t even have hand towels. I don’t think they know what wash clothes are either cause none of the hotels have them. The bed was firm but wasn’t too bad. Breakfast is ok but be prepared to pay extra if you want tortillas or pancakes and also if you want something to drink other than coffee. If you have kids be prepared to pay for their drink!
