Fraser Suites Chengdu, Chengdu, China

After staying in several hotels in Chengdu, I found Fraser to be the best value for the money. The suite was spacious, modern, clean, and the staff spoke English fluently. Great location between Tianfu Square and Chunxi Road, 5 minutes from the a Line 1 subway stop. Highly recommended.

Check in : was swift and smooth Room : 1508 ( 2 bedroom) / amenities were great, however leaking during rainy days. Beware not to put baggage or things near the window. Front desk Staff : it’s the autumn festival, there is a promotion where each room is entitled a cute rabbit ( shaped) dessert. She didn’t know exactly where to redeem. Concierge : unhelpful. On 1 rainy morning, we found only 1 umbrella in our 2 bedroom unit and asked if we could borrow 1 from the lobby concierge. His reply , there isn’t any available. It’s a 5 star property but the service was truly questionable. Then I asked if a 1 room unit gets 1 umbrella, shouldn’t my 2 bed room unit have 2 ? Then he took 1 out and hand it to us. That’s plain liar. This property need a little upgrade on their service staff . After all , service maketh then apart from others .

Fantastic apartment with all the facilities, delicious breakfast, great place to stay.

Such a great find. Super comfortable, very clean and a great location. Staff was very helpful in making recommendations to helping us get a taxi. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is good, breakfast is good too. Kids love the playroom and swimming pool. Will be my first choice if I am coming to Chengdu with family again.
