The location is well placed in Klagenfurt. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. Being on the third floor with a struggle as the rooms do not have ac. We had to have to window open the whole night and it is noisy in the area. The parking is also a bit of a challenge.

Too hot in the summer. No AC
A simple hotel within walking distance of downtown Klagenfurt. The only problem was that the room on the top floor was SOO hot in the summer heat and there was no air-con. I tried to open the windows at night to cool down but it didn't help. If you come during the summer months avoid the top floors. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and breakfast decent.

Too hot to sleep well in summer.
A clean & simple hotel within walking distance to most places in the city. The bed was comfortable, wifi was good & reliable, the staff were helpful. The only issue I has was that there was no AC or fan and it was pretty darn hot in June, especially up on the top floor where my room was located and that made it pretty difficult to get good sleep. Science shows that humans should sleep in a room that's about 19 degrees, and it definitely was no where even close to that. I realize installing AC is no easy/cheap task, but at least have a fan in the room for guests during the hotter days.

Grand stay when we booked it said we could check in after 2pm that's why we went with that one but when we got there we had to wait until 4 .40 abit annoying as we were there at 2 when we complained they said they sent us an email telling us the check in time was 5pm a bit late then after they had our money good parking for motorbikes no sleep somebody in neighbouring garden talking all night but this war out of control of hotel .

There was no parking upon arrival and you the cleaning crew began cleaning at 8am. The noise the cleaning crew made was so loud that it felt like they were cleaning in the room itself.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel in the Heart of the City
The room was cozy, not too small. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the room and shower extremely clean. The breakfast was terrific, bed extremely comfortable, there was cable TV (but I didn't use it) and it was in the heart of downtown with amazing views. Walk to everything but very quiet. A wonderful folder of information and tourist attractions handy. There is no elevator, though there was parking, too.

Basic
The single room was nice and clean, but very bear bones. The bed was a little hard and the pillow was awful. The breakfast was nice and had good variety , in my opinion (fruit, bread, cheese, cold cuts, hard or soft boiled eggs, cereal and great coffee). The wifi could be better, but it works for minimal stuff like email.
