Exceptional Staff Service
This hotel is well located only 10 metres off the main pedestrian street in Pera. The boutique hotel is in a wonderful old building with modern and extremely comfortable rooms. The staff on the front desk are exceptional; I travel extensively and do not recall a hotel where the staff are as engaged and helpful as at the Story Hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Excellent experience
I hadn't been sure where to book a hotel in Taksim when my first two choices were full, but this hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. It has been renovated and has very nice decor. I loved the high ceiling and bathroom tile colors. The pillows were great and they even have a pillow menu! Free coffee and snacks. It was actually easy to find on foot, was very clean and comfortable and the employees were so warm and friendly. Great breakfast place is across the street. Quiet and we slept great, even my very tall son who was on the sleeper sofa. My experience with hotels in Istanbul has not always been the best but not in this case. We will certainly stay again.

BEST hotel
We absolutely LOVED this hotel!! We really felt like valued guests throughout our stay. Everything was superb, from check in to our spacious rooms, cleanliness, wifi, staff service, staff helpfulness, and check out. We weren't affected by any street noise, even though the hotel is just off Itsiklal Street. The location is fantastic and conveniently close to the funicular and tram stations, restaurants and shops, and Galata Tower. There are lots of cool little restaurants and shops to be found in the side streets off Itsiklal Street, so great for a bit of exploring. Special thanks to MK and Fatih - we hope to see you again and stay at your wonderful hotel.
