My key card stopped working several times. The mattress was old and not comfortable. The breakfast was not very good, Served the same runny eggs everyday with not many other options. The gym had nothing but 2 old treadmills. The swimming pool is as big as a bathtub. The tv remote didn’t work. My room was so small I couldn’t even turn around. Still the staff was nice.

dont stay
staff was rude i know my portugese is not great but they ignored me as i approached. bugs in dining area cockroaches. bed was horrible. you felt every spring in mattress . may have been original mattress from the 50s. pool was cold and hot tub non existant just pool water. Breakfast was an hour late we had to rush to eat to get to our appointment at us embassy. thank god it was close.

The worst pert of the stay was not having hot water. I can deal with almost anything except for not being able to take a HOT shower!

Grotty, don’t go!
Arrived late evening. Given a room which, if I’m being generous, was basic. Bed- dated Bedding - grey should’ve been white Towels - threadbare and the same grey colour Wardrobe wouldn’t open. We asked for it to be and were told we’d be given another room the next day. Didn’t happen neither could we open the wardrobe for the duration. Air con - didn’t work and was noisy so much so, we opened the window and listened to everyone else’s air con machines as we were in the grotty interior tunnel. The air con even made a terrible noise when it was off! But when it was on, there was no cool air. We asked the maid for our towels to be changed and she categorically said NO. We were there for 3 days and only had the same threadbare towels. All she did was change the bin. There was a dirty plate outside the maid lift for the whole 3 days on the floor. Pool area - a bit grotty as are the tables. Queues for the lift at all times and we couldn’t find the stairs. The fridge worked The safe worked. Will we stay there again…..NO! Not recommended.
