The hotel was great. It was clean and had everything we could ask for.
I needed some background noise and air circulation and easily found the way to turn on the fan in the room. We needed a microwave and called the desk, who told us there was one in the hallway upstairs.
It was very quiet. We didn't even see any other guest and felt like we were there all by ourselves.
Now for the advertising. We flipped through the pictures and saw that there was an impressive gym, climbing wall, and arcade that my son was particularly excited about.
It is part of the building, but not really attached to the hotel. There is a separate entrance.
The hours were not traveler friendly. By the time we got into town and had dinner, we called and found out they were closed for the night, and didn't open until 12 the next day, when we had other plans. We were disappointed about that.
We asked the desk when we checked out for details and the woman asked if we were going. I said I wasn't sure. She gave each of the kids $5 gift cards just in case, which was nice.
We were able to work it out so we could stop by on our way out of town. This made up for the disappointment. But if we were, for example, headed out of town in the morning, it would have been more of a let down.
