Staff was friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff went the extra mile every day. Our bathroom was showing its age with slow drains and a running toilet. We left a laptop there and were glad they notified us quickly. They use a service to ship items and I was a bit shocked to have to spend approx $200 USD. My mistake, but that seems excessive.

We went in October. Hotel is very nice and in a very beautiful area. There was some confusion regarding reservation but the staff was very cooperative. Decent but very nice breakfast also. For the price we got can ask nothing more. Although I'm not sure what summer prices are like.

The first room we had was just outside of the kitchen exhaust vents so we could not leave the door and windows open and it was very hot that day. The carpet in our room was stained and gross. The furniture was in need of refinishing or replacing. The Wi-Fi reception was non existent. When we got another room it was much cleaner. Wood floors. Furniture not quite as beat up. Wi-Fi was much better. Problem with this room was the construction just across the street. It was horribly loud. Had to have doors and windows open as it was hot outside but the construction noise went from 7AM to 8:30PM. Just a bad experience all around. The staff was very helpful in getting us another room, however.

Upon arrival, we were able to pay 15 EU to park right behind the hotel in downtown Cortina. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!
