Disappointing Service

Facilities were adequate and as expected. We were there on Saturday night over Memorial Day weekend and arrived around 8pm or so. We had two rooms, one room was not available until 830pm or so and the other was not ready until 10pm. The single housekeeper was working as hard and as fast as she could (literally sweating), but for whatever reason the rooms were not ready even at the late hour. I'm not sure the situation that caused this, whether it was staffing call outs or no shows, but it did make for an unpleasant arrival and checkin. The front desk staff were clearly flustered, but made no efforts to offer anything other than we understand your frustration apologies. Hopefully this was a unique situation that gets addressed and corrected in the future.
