Hard to communicate with the company, needed expedia help. Arrived before 11 so allocated a different, (smaller and more basic apartment) without discussion Poor kitchen equipment, no chopping board only a big pan and one fry pan. No spare loo roll or shower gel ( no shower either) Small and very basic, but gives an idea of how locals live. Would be very hard to find for someone new to the area. Get Aparton to send a driver to pick you up. Good shops and market near by, and a range of eating out options. Very close to metro. No maps or info provided by Aparton at all, even after asking. Buy from stall near the metro. For hardy travellers, would not recommend for first time in Minsk.

We had switched on air conditioning and someone started banging on the door at midnight and we had to call police and it came out that old man cannot sleep as water dripping from the air conditioning but it is scary for foreigners to open door at midnight Rest all was good specially the location was the best

Great apartment in Minsk
We booked apartment for 6 persons for 3 days and you do not apartment address when you book as you get an apartment from 4 addresses. They all are located in the center. The apartment is spacious and has kitchen. The staff is friendly.

The apartment was very far from where it was advertised to be. After I booked it, the manager even confirmed via email that it was in the wrong location. Having a washing machine was great, but it is extremely small and slow. The apartment and furniture was dated but fairly clean

Terrible - Not recommended
We were told they would wait for us for late checkin for a 10$ fee. We arrived there and no one was waiting so we had to find something else for the first night. We came following morning and they just ignore our question about why nobody was waiting and in addition told they don't have apartment left so they told hotels.com will refund you and left us in the street. Their customer service is terrible, please choose another place if you can.

Absolutely Worst Experience
I want to make clear that I've traveled to many countries and have never expected much from a hotel, a clean bed, decent shower and good location. For that, I do my research and make sure I understand what I'm getting. This is one situation where I was completely misled. I had a flight cancel and so I had to come a day later. I had explained to the gentleman that I would be coming the following morning and he said not to worry and that they wouldn't charge me for the previous night. I thought, well that's nice of them. When I arrived They wouldn't accept CC, cash only. The hotel charges double what the listing says for airport transfer so better to arrange your own. the rooms are run down apartments in "project" style neighborhoods. I quickly dropped my bags off so I could photograph the city. An hour later I started to get messages over and over from the checkin lady that I had to pay for that first night. I explained to her that the owner had said it was no problem. She proceeded to go on and threaten to have my passport flagged for illegal occupation of a hotel room. Fine. She made me pay in cash again so I had to withdraw funds. I ended up leaving the city that night and slept at the airport til a flight was available. The room was on the 5th level of a dark stairway with no lights. Guys hang out, smoking and start talking to you, laughing. It's just not safe for anyone if you plan on returning after dark.
