These are challenging times Due to covid19, so I want to be mindful of that. But, our experience was really not that great And I think that the Inn needs to be a little more hospitable, especially now when business is not as strong as it was. we booked our stay through hotels.com. The hotel is presented as a pet friendly hotel, extra charges are not mentioned when you book. Then, I got an email saying there’s a 30$ cleaning fee. Everything is charged in advance as check in is contactless due to covid. Ok-although This pet fee is very high for a 129$ stay, and for a time when extreme cleaning is expected in all rooms regardless. I’ve never been charged that much for having a non shedding 13 year old poodle with me. Then, another surprise: we got charged 20$ for parking, which is not mentioned anywhere as well. So nice of the inn keepers to not mention it in the 3 emails they sent, or when they called me, or on any sign around the inn... Breakfast was a disgrace-a few stale bagels wrapped in plastic. and the bath tab was clogged. On the positive side, the hotel decor is nice and the toilet paper and towels are of Surprisinglyhigh quality. The bed was not comfortable and very lumpy. There was hair on the floor, even though the room was suppose to be sparkling clean due to the pandemic.i hope they used the 30 extra $ I paid to properly clean their rooms. Our bill ended up being 1.5 times what we thought it would be for an 8 hour stay. I was disappointed. Would not stay here again
