10/10 Exceptional

Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Provided a free glass of champagne upon which was a nice touch. Room was very tastefully decorated to match the feeling of the hotel's history. Grounds were lovely to walk around and for breakfast there were a lot of options to choose from. Would definitely stay there again.

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed here during a 50th wedding anniversary trip. They made our stay very special. The room preparation was very nice and tailored to us. The dining room has a wonderful fixed price menu with champagne pairing with each course. The hostess was especially welcoming. We should have stayed longer.

4/10 Fair

This is such a shame. The property itself is exquisite, the rooms are sumptuous, the gardens are gorgeous and Margaux on reception was utterly fantastic. However, the dinner service (tasting menu) was very poor, and the service at dinner was terrible. Asking 3 or 4 times for more drinks, topping up our own glasses, plates cleared at random times, food of questionable quality and being fobbed off by impatient waiters who clearly just could not wait to clock off. Memorably, I was told in patronising tones that the dessert centrepiece was merely caramelised…it was black through and burnt…no apology was offered and no compensatory effort was made with a consolation of any type. Avoid..

Excellent Place
This is now our "go to" hotel when driving through France. The staff are amazing and are really helpful and attentive. The food is also excellent as are the champagnes. We have stayed here three times now and I'm sure there will be many more.

10/10 Exceptional

This was the finest chateau we stayed in while in the Champagne area of France. Totally remodeled, beautiful grounds with a magnificent fountain, clean and attractive rooms, and a breakfasts fit for a king. We usually rarely pay for a breakfast, but this though expensive, was worth every dollar. Their dinner recommendations for Epernay were outstanding. Great location between Epernay and Reims and in a very quiet town. We visited during harvest, though more traffic than usual, was interesting with no real inconvenience. Loved Epernay and the many Chateau’s along Champagne Avenue. We visited in early September and would gladly revisit. Susan and Gene
