An excellent and well-priced hostel conveniently located for central Lisbon. When I arrived the chap at the desk provided me with a city map and was kind enough to point out various places of interest and let me know what public transport would get me between them and the hostel, which saved me some Googling later.
The room was nice - minimal, as one would expect - but the bed was comfy and there was enough storage space. The hostel's on the fourth floor of a building so you're away from the noise
Breakfast is from 08:30-10:00 each morning. You get your own toast, cereal, fruit, and drinks and a member of staff cooks and serves (American) pancakes to those who want them. I was impressed with the quality.
I had some reservations about using a shared bathroom but this was kept clean by staff and other guests. One of the two gents toilets had no lock on the door though, which made for some nervous experiences and is largely why I've given 4 stars rather than 5.
A common/living room is available for people younger and trendier than I to hang out in until 23:00. It looked nice and well maintained if slightly hipster (there's a typewriter in there).
Overall this represented a welcoming and good value option for visiting Lisbon and I'd probably visit again.
