Good option for New Plymouth
Very comfortable and quiet hotel with high standards. Only negatives were the extreme care needed with egress and entry into hotel carpark at busy times off and onto a one way three lane highway. Quality of the internet connection was the poorest I have experienced in a hotel very a long time particularly in a high quality branded hotel.

During check in, the staff told me that they have mistakenly put another customer in the room on the second floor which was initially reserved for me. As a result, they put me in a room on the ground floor. However the staff were friendly and apologetic and gave us 2 free drinks in the bar. Unfortunately things got worse when we realised the wifi connection was not working and under repair. There were also constructions outside of the hotel during our stay. Breakfast however was not bad but limited choice.
