If you're expecting a pleasant stay and a good night sleep at night near the beach @ Tivai Beach Cottage then - FORGET IT. FORGET THE SLEEP, Because you WILL be greeted by Frogs, termites, cockroaches, spiders when they come to reclaim their territory. ------ On a serious note, we booked the place for two days and couldn't sleep for the first night because of the above mentioned issues+ power cuts (no power backup). Second day we had to check out and book another place. ------ The cottages are not maintained, there are termite infested , washroom is not completely sealed as a result frogs etc were hopping in. They don't provide: 1. Towels 2. Soap 3. Water (In short- there's absolutely no service) ----- Lost my trust on Beach Side Cottages

Only location is good else everything is bad.i booked for 4 nights and cleaning is done only single day in total 4 nights stay.the cleaning staff is very rude and said all idiot things while cleaning room as the main owner had left property with such rude fellows and they don't care whether what there guests feel.never to stay again at this cottages ever again .not recommended to foreigners also

Sleeping with Rats
Horrible experience here we slept with rats, cockroach,ants & frogs. This is my last booking from Hotels.com. Staffs are behaving like Animals. I will give this cottage 0 star.

Very worst place. 3rd class. Pls don't impress with fabricated photos of this hotel. The ground reality is so bad. Thousands of holes in wood wall any one can see you and your family from outside. Many open space at bathroom. Not good place for kids. I found frogs in bathroom. Also I found Centipede (कनखजूरा) No phone, no tv no food facility Also there is very worst mobile network. No general shop near by, no market place. Very difficult to reach at hotel Only 2 things good for this place 1st they uploaded good photo to impress customer & 2nd it's very near to beach Pls don't stay at this place if u want to enjoy your GOA trip.
