Atmospheric heritage hotel with a lovely garden and swimming pool tucked away in a quite corner just a stone's thrown from dining and shopping options in Lazimpat and environs. Great value.

A heritage family-friendly hotel.
The hotel is family-friendly and looks like a heritage building converted into a hotel. The hotel is very spacious with a large swimming pool, parking space, and backyard garden. They serve a complementary standard buffet breakfast. They also have a restaurant with a bar for basic lunch and dinner. My family never felt bored staying at the hotel.

Great location and friendly staff!
I was going on a trek for 7 days. They allowed me leave a bag I wouldn’t need at the hotel as I’d coming back there.
The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating and nice. Location was great, close to Thamel and the airport. I’m a chatty person, so got to know the staff quite well. Can’t say enough about how great they all were.

ok place
ok place, not a great bathroom. Service is alright, be prepared to argue to get your negotiated rate. Would stay again if it is cheap, else would prefer Hotel Tibet in the area.

Manaslu stay
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We had tranquil atmosphere. Internet access was good. Accessibility to main road was also good. A good restaurant with variety of options is also there within 5 minutes walk. In the hotel, room was clean but with torn and dirty bed sheet. Food was not so tasty in breakfast. The server does not respond promptly for empty basket during the breakfast time. Service from other staffs is slow and some time no response even they assured. Need to ring second time. No refrigerator available although it was assured during booking. The neighborhood is ecologically nice.

Nice hotel, poor food, poor location
Nice enough hotel, let down by poor quality and expensive food. Very inconvenient location, too far out from Tamel and the sites. Long walk or need a taxi. Particularly unsuitable for first time visitors to Kathmandu

Not quite three stars
Booked to relax after travelling however not much to do and hadn't had enough jags to allow us to attempt use of the pool. Had to call reception to get hot water in the room. Dinner on first night felt like we were in an episode of Faulty Towers, but we may have been tired. Couldn't have kofta as it was too much work! Buffet breakfast was good and most staff were lovely. Wifi worked if in lobby or bar area. Outside area had cover which was great esp. When we experienced a storm. Garden lovely but no where to sit. Similar to a business hotel. One evening we were sitting out and before 10pm they switched most lights off, I guess they wanted an early night! We enjoyed stay though not sure it is value for money, with some of the other hotels around. Perhaps 2 stars rather than 3.. Would recommend to a friend but only if they paid a better rate than we did based on the above and lack of pool.

Don't waste your time or money
I arrived in the middle of the night to find that they "did not have a reservation for me." The person in charge would not even come talk to me. They helped me find another hotel only after I got rude and insisted (how is a foreigner going to find a new hotel in the middle of a mostly residential district in the middle of the night in Nepal?) Don't risk your money or your safety.
