A bit disappointed
This time around I had a few problems. 1- there is no parking reserved for hotel guests, so on nights that are busy like Friday or Saturday, you end up parked really far from the door. With the ground being very slippery because of the snow and ice, it’s kind of a nuisance for guests that stay at the hotel not to be able to park close-by. 2) when you get room service, the cleaning crew doesn’t pick up your tray while doing the room cleaning the next day. One food tray stayed over 48h on my desk before I got fed up and put it on the hallway. 3- they had a very loud party on the ground floor on a Saturday night, and we could hear the base on the 3rd & 4th floor of the hotel. I understand that they rent the place for functions (weddings, parties, etc) but the volume should not be so loud as to disturb the other guests. Or else improve the sound isolation? 4- seriously food is an issue in this hotel. Despite trying to pass the restaurant as a trendy place, the food is quite expensive for what it is and the taste is quite disappointing. Really not a fan of this restaurant, even for breakfasts...

Honest Opinion from New Hampshire
Check-in was great. Welcoming lobby. Great reception from staff. Clean everywhere. Good beds. Great sleep. My negative: We didn’t reserve for breakfast for Sunday morning ahead of time. We asked about breakfast/brunch Saturday night at reception, we were directed to the dining room staff to inquire. We proceeded to dining room. While trying to reserve, we felt like it was an inconvenience for them to fit us in, whether we were 4 or 10. We were told (4-5 times) they had to serve 80 breakfasts from 6:00-9:30 because of some large group that was staying there. There also was a brunch from 10:00 on, and it sounded like they didn’t want to try to fit us in because they also had to plan for non-guests that also like to go there for brunch on Sundays. Seems to me like a place calling itself “Chateau” with such a nice looking dining room (we never got to experience) should have the means to have enough staff and enough eggs to accommodate both their non-local guests and local customers who want to enjoy your dining facilities. We had a great breakfast somewhere else. Thumbs down Chateau
