Excellent Hotel will certainly stay again

Lovely spotless hotel with fast efficient and friendly staff... only negative was our rooms were up 2 flights of stairs with no lift (pain when carrying baggage) . however not a problem unless you have a disability. I'm sure if it was an issue they would have changed our room but just wasn't something obvious from the booking. I would certainly stay here again !! Thank you !

    Nice hotel.

Plus points…. Lovely hotel in a good location. An Uber cost just £4 to get into town. Breakfast was excellent. Onsite parking. Negatives…. Bath was a death trap! Really high and getting in and out of the shower is dangerous. Hot water is scolding hot. Pillows were a waste of time, zero support as they were SO flat. At breakfast I asked for a milk alternative, they gave me some but it was served in a cow shaped milk jug! Quite ironic really.

    Hotel du Vin Newcastle

Friendly helpful staff, Comfy rooms with good quality comfortable beds, my room even had a lovely roll top bath in the room so you could watch TV from the bath. The only thing I would say is that if you stay in the Louis Jadouet room you might get an early wake up from the bottle/glass collection at 5.30am. Apart from that it was great and the service perfect! The location was also good and just a short walk to everything the quayside has to offer.

    Will be back

Lovely central courtyard is a huge selling point in the summer. Airy rooms, good food and cocktails. Interesting Ouseburn area within easy walking distance. Just watch that the heating can turn off when you go out - good for the environment but a bit chilly at times.

    Loved this hotel

We stayed in a superior room, which was really tastefully decorated, roll top bath, balcony, perfectly clean. Had an enjoyable dinner, then cocktails in the bar. The whole decor of the hotel is stylish, contemporary but somehow old-school too. Staff were helpful, friendly and customer focused. Brilliant breakfast to top off our stay. Would definitely return

    Awesome stay

Love this hotel and was lucky to stay in a really fab room with balcony bathroom. Wonderful staff throughout but particularly in the restaurant. Super friendly service and going that extra mile to make you happy with your food choice. 6 hours in the car before arrival but lovely to arrive here for a relaxing stay before work.
