Excellent - 100% would stay again
Excellent location and everyone we dealt with from check-in, room service, concerige and dining were brilliant. Although not the closest (2 minute walk) hotel to the Haram its ideal as the road never gets busy and taxis on you door step. We had breakfast daily which was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would 100% use this hotel again and recommend it highly. I have previously stayed at the Fairmont and found this easier to access the Masjid.

Disappointing service!
We had a confirmed Non-smoking room via hotels.com which was not honoured by the hotel. Instead a smoking room was provided. I have breathing issues and told them the condition. I asked to be upgraded to another category but they refused. I asked if they could compensate in any other way such as discount on meals etc. They offered us a discounted rate for a buffet dinner which we later found was their normal price. Very disappointing and unprofessional service! I will definitely not be staying at this property for my next visit.
