Very good
Hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly but there isn’t much close to the hotel for food (if the restaurant is closed or you want something else). You’d have to either drive to a place close by or walk about 15 min which isn’t horrible but also not ideal.

Excellent staff. Super Clean Rooms. Small property so no overcrowding.

normally we take a king size bed and the rooms are perfect. This time, I decided to take a chance with with rooms fitted with a murphy bed to get more space with the little one. I turns out it was a bad choice. the bathrooms are closer to a closet size and the beds were uncomfortable. The room was on the first floor and the patio door was unable to lock (it was very loose and could have fall off the frame easily). That should have been noticed a long time ago and corrected. will keep going but will only book the rooms I am used to from now on.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. I would not stay at this establishment they charge my credit card for additional fees and never return my calls.

Don't accept room 201
Booked using rewards nights... Not sure if that made a difference, but we were definitely assigned the worst room in the hotel. Our window overlooked the kitchen roof (and exhaust fan), and the air conditioner was louder than an airplane cabin. It left an impossible choice between the heat, the air conditioner volume, or the kitchen exhaust fan going off and on all night, none of which permitted a restful slumber. Disappointing, as the hotel seemed like a perfect local get away for a relaxing weekend. Instead, we came home exhausted. One of the staff said they had replaced the air conditioners in all of the other rooms. On the plus side, the spa was a nice way to end a day of hiking in the Gatineau.
