We were not thrilled with the garden apartment which was right behind the parking lot and the reception area. The view wasn’t great and it was loud at times and when I went out on my deck I would often see people on the grounds so it didn’t feel private.

Horrible staff and services. From the moment of arrival, the stay, and the dinning experience. Paid for the breakfast of which there many things on the menu that they advertise you can order anything on the many as much as you like for breakfast. Nevertheless everything we ordered they said they currently not available. For example roti mataba or rice soup with fish. Most of the available food are already cook and display. What a disappointment and bad advertisement. The price for the buffet is of course in full even of all the items are not available. The bathroom in our room were NOT cleaned properly and the shower absolutely smells like urine. Of which we mentioned but no body did anything about it. In addition there were supposed to be a bus shuttle from the hotel two routes a day into the boat and restaurants area (busy area) but it is always late and extremely disorganized. One time we were waiting for over fifteen because the driver couldn't be found. If which affects our boat schedule that we have already reserved from the other company. Staff here are just don't care. Never really smile to us (probably because we did mention something about the restroom and the room wasn't being cleaned), but should it be that way?? We were just letting them know the truth. I'm pregnant and really can't stay the smells of the rest room. Is it too much to ask for...

Its about a 30 minute walking distance from the beach which is the equivalent of 100 baht by tuk tuk from the hotel to the beach and its away from the main streets. The quiet and calm was what we were looking for and we were very happy with that.

A little disappointing
This was supposed to be a 4* hotel which in Thailand normally means great hotel great staff and clean and tidy - out stay was certainly not. Covid has had an impact of course and staff numbers are reduced as expected but unfortunately that means that gardeners and general maintenance isn’t upto spec. Maybe when things get back to some sort of normal and staff numbers are increased it will get back to its 4* status. Having said that our stay was ok, we enjoyed the quietness, 4 days was enough and we were happy to move on .

One of the best resorts in Thailand
An absolutely stunning resort with the best staff I've yet to meet in Thailand. It's close enough to the main street so you can walk down to the beach, but secluded enough to give an illusion of solitude. It's both a beautiful complex and a very well-staffed one. My only caveat? The facilities close down too early, at around 7 in the evening. However, the town is so close that it didn't matter as much as we feared.
